Ein kleiner weißer Leuchtturm stand hoch auf der Klippe. Seit langer Zeit wacht er über das Meer.

Die Sonne ging über dem Wasser auf. Das Meer ist hier ruhig und klar, und es ist geschützt. Das Licht färbte die Klippen noch einmal golden.

Polly verabschiedete sich vom Elefantenberg. Sie stieg mit dem warmen Wind auf und flog hinaus über das helle Meer.
