Neljäntenä päivänä tuuli oli kova. Polly hyppi ison kivitorin poikki kalliolla. Lokit laskeutuivat vinossa tuulessa.

Laatat kertoivat vanhan tarinan. Ratsastaja jahtasi peuraa sumussa. Peura loikkasi sumuun. Maa loppui siihen. Mutta hevonen pysähtyi reunalle, ja ratsastaja oli turvassa.

Ulkona Polly istui patsaalla, jossa oli peuran pää. Sillä oli surffilauta. Alhaalla aallot kasvoivat isommiksi.
