The Painted Animals

Polly flies to the forest. The rocks here are big and red. A red squirrel says hello. She drops a pine cone on Polly's head.

The squirrel shows Polly some rock walls. There are paintings on the red stone. Polly sees deer and wild goats. The paintings are very old.

People made them thousands of years ago. There is also a painted bird. Polly looks at it for a long time. She likes the painted bird very much.

In the evening the rocks glow red. A real deer walks between the trees. Then it is gone. The forest is quiet.
