The Amazon, the Biggest River

The Amazon is a great river in South America. It is the biggest river in the world by the amount of water. It carries more water than many other large rivers all together.

Amazonul este un râu mare din America de Sud. Este cel mai mare râu din lume după cantitatea de apă. El poartă mai multă apă decât multe alte râuri mari luate împreună.

The river starts high in the mountains and flows to the sea. On the way, it passes through nine countries. Around the river there is a huge green forest, full of trees, birds, fish, and many other animals.
