Harper steps off the glowing path, onto a carpet of pixel flowers. Shff. Shff. Square petals sway around their ankles, colors popping like tiny comic panels—blue, yellow, bright pink.

Harper kneels, balancing the pillow under one arm, and brushes a fingertip across a cube tulip. Tink. The flower lights up, and a soft wave of color rolls through the garden. Rows of flowers flip and spin, rearranging into patterns—circles, spirals, and little arrows pointing deeper in.

“Whoa. Secret garden mode,” Harper whispers. The nearest flowers rise on short stems, forming low, glowing hedges that outline a maze. Not a scary maze—just a calm, puzzle-y one, humming quietly. A tiny gap opens in the hedge at Harper’s feet, like an invitation. Harper grins. “Okay, flower maze. Let’s see your tricks.”
